Zardly SMS Alerts — Opt-In Policy
_Last updated: August 6, 2026_
Zardly offers optional SMS text alerts so trading-card vendors don't miss time-critical events — above all, "your card just sold online — pull it from your case before it sells twice."
What messages you'll receive
SMS Alerts are transactional and operational only. If you opt in, Zardly may text you about:
- Sales: an item of yours sold on a connected marketplace (for example eBay) and needs to be pulled from your physical inventory.
- Critical account or sync issues: a failure that needs your attention to prevent a double-sale (for example, a listing that could not be removed after a sale).
- Phone verification: a one-time code to confirm your number when you sign up for SMS Alerts.
Zardly does not send marketing or promotional text messages, and your phone number is never sold or shared with third parties for their marketing.
How opt-in works
SMS Alerts are strictly opt-in and use double confirmation:
- In the Zardly app, go to Account → SMS alerts.
- Enter your mobile phone number.
- Actively check the consent box (it is never pre-checked) agreeing to receive text alerts.
- Tap "Yes, sign me up for text alerts."
- We text you a one-time verification code; entering it in the app confirms your number and completes opt-in.
No number receives alerts without completing all of these steps. SMS Alerts are also a fallback channel: Zardly notifies you in-app and by push notification first, and sends a text only when a critical alert appears to have gone unseen.
Message frequency
Message frequency varies with your sales activity. Most vendors receive texts only when an item sells or a critical issue occurs — typically a few messages per week or fewer. Verification codes are sent only when you request them.
Rates
Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Opting out
- Reply STOP to any Zardly text to unsubscribe at any time.
- Reply HELP for help, or contact support@zardly.ai.
- You can also remove your phone number in the app at any time (Account → SMS alerts → Remove number), which stops all texts.
Your information
Your phone number is stored securely, used only to deliver the alerts described above, and handled according to our Privacy Policy. Use of Zardly is governed by our Terms of Service.
